CCM without PI using ERP 6.0 EHP4

Hi,

We are trying to Implement CCM with the ERP6.0 EHP4 backend ERP system , but would like to follow the normal ALE distribution model of contracts to ECC instead of using PI.

There are several reasons as we are having 14 backend systems each one with various backend versions.

Can anyone confirm that is it mandatory to use PI in my scenario or still use the ALE model.

Hi, Are you referring to the SAP Sourcing CLM application .. by CCM ??.

If so, the standard delivered interfaces always use PI to interact with the ECC systems and not directly. We do use the ALE distribution for sending material and send/recieve vendors to teh ECC systems not for the contracts however.

  If there are 14 backend systems with different versions,  then using PI is a better approach I would think.

Thanks for your update , but this is the CCM distribution to ERP and not CLM.
