LOOKUP V/s Destination App in SAP BPC 10.0 NW Version

Hi Folks,

I know the Functioning of LOOKUP and Destination App, But I cant differentiate those two.

What are the major differences between those two ?

If possible provide the relevant documents/information ?

Hi,

BPC help is the right document:

With LOOKUP you are able to READ data from another cube (you can also read data from the same cube, but there are other methods like tuple expression).

With DESTINATION_APP you are able to WRITE the result of calculations to another cube.

The WHEN/ENDWHEN loop is always looping the records of the cube where the script is defined.
