RSIRPIRL generate a hugh amount of folders

Hello,

I move a round a million documents into the archive. It generated around 300 thousend folders with mostly only one or two documents in it.

Our archive interface can only handle 1 million folders.

I would like to know if there is a possiblity to reduce the number of folders.

   Can you please provide more details ? Are you using file system database for content server ? It is dangerous to  touch the file system directly. Were there any already existing folders ?   Which content server you are using ?

Dear Sagar,

we are using the SAP Content Server with a EMC file archiv.

I don't want to move the files out its existing folders but I would like to place the new files in a single folder.

When I started the prozess there were no folder on the file system. We just started to use the EMC file archiv.
