Navigate to an object outside the content area

Hi all,

EPCM.doNavigate("..") & also http://...?NavigationTarget="..." works within the content area.

Is there anyway to navigate to an iView/Page from outside the content area. Outside from an external page, browser, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Rgds,

Janvi.

      Hi Janvi

You can use the navigation target to directly entering to any page in portal. For this you first open the page/iview in the portal. Then in the page persionalisation add to browser favourites is there. Add this to bowser and get the link from the browser favourites. Then in the link outside the portal(clicking it you want the required page in portal)you place this value. So on clicking the link the corresponding page of portal is loaded. If authentication is required it will ask for userid/password and then on loging it will directly open the target page in the portal.

      Regards
