connection to SAP systems

Hi,

According to SAP, what is currently the preffered way of connecting to SAP systems when developing iViews using the PDK ?

    Long time no see...

    I think the SAP_R3_Dedicated system will be the best system for your use.

    Hi,

    If you are custom developing java iviews then JCA is what u need to use to connect to Backend SAP Systems.

    Examples and Documentation are provided in PDK.

    You can find plenty of code samples and reviews on How-TO JCA..

    This what SAP recommends over JCo(Which we used for EP5.0).

    So in order to connect to SAP system I should use the JCA implementation 'SAP system connector' ?

    Am I right ?
