FireFighter Log Report via e-mail

Hi everyone,

is it possible in GRC 10 to have log reports directly attached (as xls files) in the FireFighter Usage e-mail notification? Currently, the e-mail contains a link which opens the associated page in the NWBC.

Dear Erik,

No you could not send the logs via attachmnet. Even if the delivery option is set to email, a link is provided, where the controller clicks on link is directed to Portal/NWBC. Then the controller can view the report. The only difference between the delivery option Workflow and email is, in workflow the workitem is received in inbox and the session could be approved whereas in email, the controller only views the details.

Hello,

Yes, you can send email mail attachment. when you maintain controller select notification as email.

ensure mail id is maintained.

There is an configuration in Firefighter which say how do you want to see log  report.

options are 1. Workflow and 2. Email

If workflow is selected, then request in ARM will gets submitted which can be reviewed in NWBC

If email is selected, then email with log report will be send to controller.

Kindly check email option and see if your requirement is met.
