SYST: Error when calculating first day in fiscal period --> F1

Hi ,experts

When I look at asset master data 'posted values' view, error issue.

I activated profit valuation yesterday ,  and i did some change in AM configue , and i am not sure this error is relative with it or not. Before I active profit valuation , it is ok.

I went through similar questions in this forum, but no anwsers is found.

Any suggestion would be great apreciatited!

Kevin,

Few things to check.

1. Check if the year end closing is complete.

2. Check ANLC table and validate if the fiscal year on every asset corresponds to the current fiscal year.

3. Check the Fiscal calendar assigned to the company code (both FI and assets) to see if you have period 1 defined.

4. If you are receiving the error on a specific depreciation area, check the period control on the depreciation keys.

Hi Rajneesh,

    Thanks for your fast feeding back.

    The problem is fixed after I complete  config  Specify Transfer Date/Last Closed Fiscal Year.

    But I am not sure why.

The reason behind this that with closing of the fiscal year, the entries in table ANLC will be consistent with the current fiscal year.
