execute twice a marketing campaign

Good afternoon experts

We are running SAP CRM 7 with EHP2.

After executing a campaign (on channel export to file) the job status is “Job Ended Without any Error Leading to Cancellation “.

The contacts in the statistics area are updated and in the messages area the diagnosis is “The file export could not be carried out completely”.

There was an issue with the folder to which the file was exported. Now that issue is solved.

How can I run the campaign again for the same target group? And what can I do in order to correct the statistcs (I don’t want to have the number of contacts doubled in the statistics area)?

Thank in advance you for any input

    Hi Razvan

From my understanding you should be able to start the Campaign again. The Stats should reset and update based on the corrected run.

    • Good afternoon Abhishek

Unfortunately I couldn’t find a solution for sending the same target group twice to channel (while maintaining clean campaign statistics) if the initial "send to channel" job was successful...

Depending on the requirement you could try the above suggested advice from copying the campaign and executing it, to copying the target group and re-executing the initial campaign. In both cases you could then clean a set of entries (for the first execution ) from table crmd_im_ml_item which would then show your outbound contacts correctly in the campaign statistics or BW reports.

One useful aspect that I found in the meantime is that if you use a recurring automated campaign you can send the same target group to channel again and again without any problems (this might help you in determining the mechanism that checks the number of times a target group is sent to channel).

      Hope this helps.

      Best regards
