How to Pull huge volume of data from SAP R/3 source tables.

My requirement is to pull huge volume of transactional data for SCM module. The volume is near about 6500,000.

I am geeting a time out error if i use ABAP data flow to pull the data from R/3 systems, and also it takes 30-45 mins before it throw error's.

Please advise.
