Technical specifications for SAP IdM Event Agent

Hi!

I'm having trouble finding technical specifications for Event Agents (part of IdM runtime components). Generally the are only documentations from SAP how to implement something, but the technical specifications / processes behind a certain function are not explained.

Background: We're doing a Proof of Concept an need detailed information. We know it's possible but we also need to know how it's done..
