Reg : Custom field in AS01

Hi,

   I am adding a new tab in transaction AS01.But these fields I want in ANLA table instead of ANLU table.Can anyone tell me, where to write the code for saving the custome fields into ANLA table ?

How are you adding a new tab..must be some exit/badi...you should code their... What technique are you using to add field.. please provide the details.

Exits are there.But those are not impacting any change in the ANLA fields.

Can you please tell us what all you have tried...? Did you serach SCN for the same?

Yes. All are telling about ANLU table. I created my screen in Function Group corresponding to Enhancement AIST0002.And added the tab in the layout through SPRO.So the fields are appearing.But saving is happening if I have the fields are in ANLU.But, my requirement is to add custome fields in ANLA table.No where I got the result.Not in scn also.

Actually if look at table ANLU SAP has created it to hold the user defined fields only. You can anyway fetch data of these field using only the same key as of ANLA.  I dont understand why do you want it in ANLA when SAP says in case you want to add custom field in ANLA use ANLU. Can you please tell me any specific reason

Yes.Actually my client wanted it like that.Convinced client also the same.When SAP wants it in ANLU, why you want it in ANLA.
