BWA 7.2 Transport queries

Hi All,

We are using BWA server 7.2. Every time when we were transporting any cube or masterdata structure earlier with 7 bwa we used to remove cube from BWA , then transport and rebuild indexes.

Our query is from 7.2 BWA heard that it is not necessary to remove cube from BWA, instead directly transport can be performed on cuba or masterdata, where the BWA server will handle all things in background.

Is it so? if it is yes then please provide the document and SAP recommended things in this scenario.

I have not heard of that. Analytic Indexes are not integrated in the BW repository and therefore cannot be transported.

If you change the structural design of the InfoCube by adding or deleting a key figure or a characteristic, this change requires a complete rebuild of the BIA index. The rebuild is not performed automatically because the process may have a long runtime and impose significant load on the system.
