Unable to register BODS repositories in CMC (BODS 4.1 SP2)

Hi there,

I'm facing an issue with BODS 4.1 SP2. I'm not able to register the repositories in CMC. Please see the snapshot.

Environment: Windows 2008 Server

SQL Server 2012

Information Platform Service Installed

BODS 4.1 SP2 Installed.

Steps I followed after BODS installation:

1. created local, profile and central databases.
2. ran the BODS Repository Manager to create the 3 repositories
3. configured BODS job server using BODS Server Manager
4. But when I try to register the repositories in CMC I'm not able to, I don't see the Repositories option under Management?

Can someone please guide me from here, any help is highly appreciated. thanks

Did you add repositories in CMC as in DS 4.0 version you need to register your repositories before you could see them under management?

Hi I/m Me,

You posted the screen shot of  Management console not of the CMC.

Steps have been mentioned  in previous comments to Add repo in CMC .

And then only you can see Repo in your Management console.

Hello

After creating the repository in BODS Repository Manager . You are using SAP BODS 4.x so you have to configure repository in SAP BO 4.x Central management Console

Go to SAP BOBI  4.x --> SAP BOBI  Central management console ---> Data Services option--> Configure a New Repository  --> add the credentials

Then you can check in DS Management Console

Hello,

Please add the repositories in Central Management Console first and you will be able to see them in DS Management Console. This is now mandatory step in BI 4.X.

Hi,

After creation of repository (Local, Profile, Secure Central) first add in "Central Management Console 4,X"

After adding in "Central Management Console 4.X" then only you can see in "Data Services Management Console 4.X"
