Condition on InfoObject with data type "date

Hello,

I'd like to have a condition in my query that compares today's

date with the date entered into this InfoObject (Planned Go Live Date).

If the date is older than today's date I'd like the table cell to be

colored light orange, or somehow marked, I don't really care how.

I couldn't find a way to build a condition in an InfoObject with data

type "date", can you help me out, please?

Regrads,

Anita

    Hi Anita,

You can try to create a formula variable that takes the date value. Then create formulas based on each data value. Then create a third formula that tests for Date 1 > Date 2 and delivers 1 or 0. Then create an exception on this , like if 1 then provide an alert level depending on the color you would like to appear in the cell.

    Hope this helps...

    Hi Anita..

You can use characteristic variables and then compare the dates..

Refer to the document " How to..Calculate with attributes"..It will give you a good idea..

    Ashish..
