SAP ERROR: Object XYZ object version not found in table.

Hi Team,

Here I am facing this Error, When I am activating Transfer structure of XYZ by Program

RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL   or manually.

.

ERROR: Object XYZ object version not found in table.

Please let me know how can I resolve it...

Hi Priyanka,

The Reason behind this Error is :

Missing Entry in table RSBASIDOC Which tells us that which IDOC type is used to communicate between R/3 and BW.

Please go through the steps for resolution..

1) R/3 side create the IDOC type "XYZ" from "RSSEND" by using Tcode WE30 . This "XYZ" is same to what maintained in partener profile in R/3 System.

2) Once "XYZ" successfully created , make an entry into EDIMSG table RSSEND- "XYZ"  on R/3 side by using Tcode sm30.

3) Once R/3 changes will complete, go to BW source system and restore the R/3 connection.

4) Once restore will complete in BW, an entry will be automatically created in R/3 table RSBASIDOC.

5) After all settings done, go to BW and try to activate the infosourse/Transfer structure for respective R/3 datasource.

It will be successfull..
