HANA Transformation Expert Script Debugging

Hi Experts,

I am able to create a HANA transformation using an expert script, however I cannot debug the script as described in the blog https://blogs.sap.com/2016/06/23/hana-based-bw-transformation-analyzing-and-debugging/ following the steps in section 3.1.2. When executing the DTP (For debugging), the tab "Script Generation" is not available and I cannot debug the SQLScript. The source of the transformation is an InfoCube with the target being an aDSO (classic DSO template). I can execute the script and data is written to the aDSO .

GUI 740 SP 8

EclipseNeon with BWMT 1.15.6 / ABAP Dev Tools 2.68.1 / HANA Dev Tools 2.3.10

Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Perhaps this scenario not supported for the above software combination?

Hi,

do not execute the DTP.

It is necessarry to switch in the simulation mode and simulate the DTP. Than, if the processing mode is set to simulation, mark the Expert Mode checkbox.

Than in the upcoming popup go to the script tab and mark the script which you want to debug.
