SP13 upgrade

Hi,

We are trying to upgrade XI 3.0 with SP13. As per the upgrade guide, SAP J2EE engine should be switched to SAFE mode. Can somebody give any idea on how to do the same?

Nitin,

The SAPINST upgrade procedure itself switches the JAVA stack of the central instance to safemode. You need to stop all other DAILOG instances.

You can also switch manualy to safe mode from the config tool. (Choose menu FILE --> SAFE MODE). Then restart the Java stack to activate the selected mode.
