difference between FS10N and FBL3N

Hi,

I have some differences between FS10N and FBL3N for one account. The flag 'Line Items display' of the master data account was changed.

I am thinking of running the program RFSEPA01 in order to correct the differences.

Do you know if the program has any restriction with the archived items? The documentation of the program does not mention anything about that.

Dear Cecilia,

The reason for the differences is I think that you have changed the 'Line item display' (SKB1-XKRES) of the G/L account.

The secondary indexes (line items) were not created for documents posted prior the activation of the line item management display. Documents before this master record change do not contain this technical information.

Yes, you can use report RFSEPA01 if you want to bring the documents in line with the new master record.

You must refer to the documentation of this report.

Please read note 31875 where it is advised to run report RFSEPA01/02 after changing accounts master to line/open item management.

It is also  advisable not to change this but to create a new account and transfer the items to this new account as per note 403744.

If you decide for using program RFSEPA01:

- The program should be scheduled as a background job due to its long runtime.

- The account must previously be blocked for posting since it is possible that the newly posted documents would not be entered when documents and postings to this account are converted at the same time.
