Fleet Management

Hi Gurus,

We are implementing Fleet Management I just want to know what are highlights of the Process.

As far as i know it is used to capture consumption of fuel of vehicles & Fuel entry.

Can u please help me how process flows from start to end.

I am thinking likewise there is not difference between equipment and fleet equipment.

Please guide me....

Hi Raghu,

First you go through  concepts.

Concepts

and importantly go through this vital document.

Fleet Configuration

This will help you to a large extent. As you know, we need to work on this first in training servers or sandbox.

As  you said, there is no much difference between Equipment / Fleet, and  this a part of Plant Maintenance area. Features like Fuel consumptions  make them different from the main module.

After above configuration, and while working in Fuel area, you may need to go through links like given here relating to Fuel.
