Hi,
I have issue in PI 7.1 system for cache. When i make a change to any of the adapter, i don't see that change coming in RWB.
Also i checked the status of adapter in Cache Overview and Adapter engine shows : Not yet started.
Hence I tried to full cache refresh.. There i got connection time out
Error: | -5 |
Version: | 7200 |
Component: | ICM |
Date/Time: | Wed Oct 23 16:54:30 2013 |
Module: | XXX |
Line: | 4295 |
Server: | PXXXX |
Error Tag: | {-} |
Detail: | Connection to partner timed out after 600s |
Also from SLD when i do the cache refresh test, adapter engine shows yellow..
I have looked at RFC connection and other parameters but nothing seems to have changed but this issue popped up from 2 days..
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi,
please check if the FQDN (host names) have been maintained for different components instead of IP address.
Java restart also helps resolve this error sometimes.

Hi All,
Till now, I have done the following.
(1) Check all PI* user and other users as per SAP OSS note 999962
(2) Check the Exchange profile users
(3) Check SM59 connection for all as per OSS note 999962
All looks good. Still whenever, i change any channel i don't see that changes of channel reflected in RWB channel monitoring
Also when i look for look at communication channel -> Cache monitoring, i see the status Red
When i do the cache test from RWB, i see the failure as following
Any other help on this is appreciated.

Hi techie,
Check if user used in INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI rfc destination is unlocked (in SU01)
Also, check with Basis team if there was any recent parameter changes on exchange profile:
com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name
com.sap.aii.connect.directory.mshost
com.sap.aii.connect.directory.name

Thanks Naveen for reply! SLD Check looks good! The issue is when i change anything on adapter engine, this is not reflected on RWB.. To solve this issue i do full cache refresh and gets time out..
Also SLD Cache refresh test shows yellow in RWB .Along with Cache Status of communication-channel in ID is also not started.. Due to all this I tried using Full refresh and got into this issue.
Regards
