Hi,
We have requirement to create return order for partial quantity, and i am following below steps to execute the same
1. Entered Document type and Sales area
2. Entered Billing document number as reference document
3. Instead to click on COPY, i am selecting ITEM SELECTION button to edit the quantity for returns.
Now we have requirement to edit the quantity for selected item, which will automatically appear in return sales order, but currently it is in gray mode, we are unable to edit, however we can delete the line items, but unable to change the quantity of line items.
Question is how to edit the quantity in item selection screen?
Just to update, we can edit the quantity in sales order creation screen, but our requirement is to edit the quantity in item selection screen

Hi Vanrajsinh
You can very much modify the Quantity in RE order .I have tested on Full Ref quantity as well with VTAF settings . System does allow to change the quantity in RE order .Please recheck your copy control from Billing to Order (F2 to RE) or else check your authorisation to change RE . There may be chance some exit is preventing you to change the Quantity .Take the help from ABAPER .

Hi,
The billing document that you have refrenced might have been completly refrenced i.e you have already referenced the total quatities in that billing document to the Returns document.
So you might be having this issue.
Please check and revert if this doesnt work out.
Also try and check out the completion rule for the item in the item category.
It should be "B".
Thanks,
Kishor

Hello Vanrajsinh,
You can not change the qty in the item selection screen, this screen is only meant for selecting the selection of Items not for qty alteration.
You have to copy your selected item in the Return order screen and here you can reduce the qty.

In the case of Returns with respect to Billing doc--VTAF--check the Complete reference field has to be deactivated.
But in case of Returns wrto Billing VTFF-you may not have this option.

Hi Friend,
Check the Copy Control setting for the same. There must be some customization will be required for the reference document.
Hope this will help you.
