SCN and SDN account

Hi.

For some research I would like to download NW AS from http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/index?rid=/webcontent/uuid/1024acfb-5b30-2e10-f2bd-ccce5d8692b1

Then I need to authenticate on http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/logon?redirect=%2Firj%2Fsdn%2Findex%3Frid%3D%2Fwebcontent%2Fuuid%2F1024acfb-5b30-2e10-f2bd-ccce5d8692b1

The question is: Do I need additional account on SDN or SCN should work?

I tried to estabilish account on SDN but got some validation error 'user exists', so I thought auhtnetication should work with SCN account.

Finally SDN account can not be acivated, i receive message: 'User P1940183825 is not yet synchronized. In 15 minutes, please use the link in the e-mail to activate your account.' after using activation link

How can I download desired artifacts from SDN?

Is SCN new version of SDN?
