Locked Objects

A user is facing the following error message -

"Material XXXXXXX is locked by user UUUUUU for Company Code CCCC. Entering in display.. "

Message no. ZPP001145.

I had used SM12 to find and delete the locked entries in the system, but the user still gets the same error.

Can anyone give me pointers to resolve this issue ?
