how to extend time limit for SAP BI Loads and Queries

Hi Basis Team,

SAP BI loads  are getting failed due to error '' time limit exceeded''. Could you please let me know the steps to extend time limit for load and query runtime.

Hello

As suggested you need to check the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time on the system.

Read this SAP note

Note 25528 - Parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time

The parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time is a dynamically switchable.

Our Basis people has done the needful. But to update my knowledge I would like to understand the procedure to do that. And please also explain me how to extend time limit for load  and for queries in details.

Thanks for reply. I am SAP BI Consultant not a Basis consultant. But I have an idea of profile parameters (RZ13). Just I want to know the steps of extending time limit for BI loads and queries.

Hi Asim,

In that case, could you ask your basis admin to change the value of parameter in instance profile using RZ10 and take the system to restart.
