SAP ECC 5.0 Data Extraction Issue

We need to extract incremental data daily out of SAP ECC 5.0 Transaction Tables (Header, Version and Items) and Master Tables (Example: Material Master).

We will be using DataStage R/3 PACK to extract from SAP ECC 5.0 and load into Oracle Tables.

Questions:

1. Should there be any issues in extracting? Because, there have been questions raised that some of the SAP tables will not be having date-time stamps. Is this true?

2. Would DataStage R/3 ABAP Extract PACK is the best approach for doing this?

3. What is the best recommended DataStage R/3 PACK version?
