Hi Gurus,

Requesting for your assistance on the error that I have encountered. Any help and assistance will be highly appreciated.

I was trying to post a GR for a PO via transaction MIGO mvt 101 for a serialized item. The serial number was created via IQ04 and initially has a status of AVLB.

However, upon processing the GR, a runtime error is occurred with the error details as The current status of object 'EQU XXXXXX' prohibits business transaction 'Goods receipts' ('PMS1').

Also, serial number status is updated to ESTO

    Hello

    The status ESTO for the equipment does not allow goods receipt and that's why this short dump happens.

      Hello Myla,

      When there is a runtime error in a standard program, please search the SAP support portal for corrections or explanations. If there is nothing on the support portal, open a ticket with SAP.

      In your case, the update task was interrupted sometimes this is done on purpose (example when you activate Global Trade Service and forget about setting up the RFC, the system dumps on posting goods issue).

    Hi Myla,

    I encountered the same issue.

    During goods movement, the serial number (with AVLB status) encountered exact same error.

    The material document was not posted however the SN status was changed to ESTO.

    Would you mind sharing the solution if you've already found any?

    Yes Raghavendra.

    SN and equip are synchronous. and both are updated with incorrect status though goods movement is not successfully processed.
