Hi everyone,
although I found this discussion, it did not really answer my question, nor did someone else reply to my message.
Please allow me to post my question in this separate message.
I also followed the instructions provided by Anjan in the above discussion.
I did not use the standard detour rule, but created an (for now) identical, custom one: ZGRAC_MSMP_DETOUR_SODVIOL.
Unfortunately I get an error when generating the new MSMP version: "Rule with ID ZGRAC_MSMP_DETOUR_SODVIOL does not exist for rule type 1". And then the next error states "Rule ID ZGRAC_MSMP_DETOUR_SODVIOL (rule type F) is not compatible with process type".
Do you have an idea what is causing the error to be thrown? I have double checked that the new rule is defined for the process type SAP_GRAC_AR, that the rule kind isRouting Rule and that the rule type is Functional Module Based Rule.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
EM
Hello,
You can not create a custom version of a rule and call a SAP standard Function Module. I tried this for adding a FFID owner type agent rule into a EAM Log review process (as SAP do not provide one by default for that process). I got the same error. It seems the Function modules are hard coded to only work in a certain MSMP Process, and it doesn't seem to like to be reused in a "Z/Custom" namespace either.
Just out of curiosity, why are you trying to replicate the same detour rule? what is the reason behind not using the SAP standard one?
