My client is getting the following error on some of the Crystal reports that we're trying to migrate:
The object properties of the source object have missing values. Refer to the documentation to help resolve the issue. (The 'SI_VALUE1' property is missing from the 'SI_FILES' property bag.) (FWM 04042)
This is a system that was upgraded several years ago from XI r2 to 3.1 and now we're migrating to BI 4.1.
I've tried searching for this particular error both here and in a general Google search, but I'm not finding anything. It's also not in the BI Platform Error Messages doc for 4.1.
All of these reports will open in 3.1, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I had my client import some of the reports from the CMS into Crystal 2008, make a minor edit (add a space to a label then delete the space so that it registers as a change) and then save the report back to the 3.1 system thinking that the object properties would get updated, but the reports still won't migrate.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks!

Yes, the reports exist in the file store. However, I was misinformed - the folks I'm working with said the 4 reports I'm looking at right now are working in 3.1, but I just had a chance to connect to their system this morning and they're not working. All 4 reports are throwing an error about a missing UFL. That's what probably causing the problem, so I'm going to work on it from that angle.

Hello Dell,
Have you got any chance to check for the physical copy of the report in File repository store. Seems you you are missing it in your IFRS as SI_FILES actually refers to the location where the physical path of the particular info object.

Hi,
maybe its not the best Solution but if this happens only to a few Reports then you maybe can give it a try.
Import the Report using CR 2008. Open the Report with CR 2013. Export it to the 4.1 CMS.
If this works and you only have a couple of Reports with this problem you can save the Time for Troubleshooting.

Hi,
Can you use this workaround in BOXI3.1 CMC to update the SI_VALUE in SI_FILES by
- right click on the problem crystal report and choose the Refresh options,
- check the Use Object Repository when refreshing report and "Refresh report"
Then run this SQL query in the BOXI3.1 Query Builder to see if SI_FILES->SI_VALUES missing value is fixed or not
SELECT *FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_ID = 99999, where 99999 is the SI_ID for the Crystal Report that you can see in the properties for that object.
If fixed, hope you can proceed to upgrade mgmt tool in BI4.x.
Hope this helps,
Jin-Chong
