Find all scheduled reports sending to a specific email address

We have a lot of daily scheduled Crystal Reports that send out e-mail to a variety of people.

One of the destination email recipients has left the company so I need to find all the place that have her e-mail defined.

How do I search all the scheduled reports for that persons e-mail address?

Thanks,

-Allen

    Hello Allen,

The easiest way would be to use the utility available here which extracts all the recurring instances of the scheduled reports along with their E-Mail recepients (Column K). You can simply apply filter to get the desired scheduled reports by applying filter in Column K.

This works for me in Both the versions (BO 3.x and BI 4.x)

    Thanks

Assuming that you're using either Crystal Reports Server (CRS) or BusinessObjects (BO) to schedule your reports, this question should really have been asked in the BI Platform space.

Having said that, there is no easy way to get this information. You could run a query in the QueryBuilder tool that comes with both CRS and BO. However, there is no easy way to filter it to get reports to a specific email address. You would have to query for all schedules and then look at the email addresses to determine if it's there.

You might be able to use a third-party tool to get this information. I know that APOS has a Schedule Manager tool that you might be able to use to get this information, but I haven't used it so I don't know for sure.

The only other alternative I can think of would be to write a program using either the .NET or Java SDK to pull this information.
