ODS object

Hi,

Taking the above link guidence i created an ODS object.

now how do i load data into the ODS.

I am creating an info package on the info source and under the data target tab i dont see any data targets to select any.

am i missing something here its my first time dealing with an ODS.

Any help is appreciated and rewarded too.

Did you create update rules from the InfoSource to your ODS object?

unedr the processing Tab what type should i pick for an ODS? and also what is the consistency check for charac values in the transfer rules tab mean should i check it?

and in the update Tab shouldnt an ODS have full. init and deltas???

Hi Vijayanti,

In the InfoPackage click on Consistency Check and press F1...you will get full details about what it does, but it is not necessary to use this option because you are loading to an ODS. Update Data options 1 and 3 are the most commonly used. If there is a small amount of data and you just want ot test the process you can go with option 1 (PSA and then Data Targets). About the Init, full and delta: Well this depends on the data source and not the ODS...
