WD4A for excel upload

Hi,

Greetings!

I am trying to upload excel to Webdynrpo application. I checked various standard programs(WDR_TEST_UI_ELEMENTS and WDR*)  to get help and SCN posts on same topic.I   checked  FM HR_KR_XSTRING_TO_STRING which calls class Cl_abap_conv_in_ce with default code page of  8500. At the time of file upload Xtring is '504B..' which fails in error conversion, I tried various combination for codepage from table TCP00A(Code Page Attributes) .

Few threads suggested excel upload cann't be achieved in webdynrpo.

Hi,

Closing thread.

Work around, Saving ABCD.XLSX to ABDC.TXT and then retrieving that file content via Cl_abap_conv_in_ce->Create.
