      You can use dialog box in a new window like this

      1)You need to create a new new value attribute egs.WindowInstance of type IWDWindow in ur view's context.

      2)create a new window with a default view and the label whiich you need to out

      3)Then write the following lines of code where you need to show some message. This will open a new window with the default view and message

      public void popupWindow()

      {

      IWDWindowInfo windowInfo =(IWDWindowInfo) wdComponentAPI.getComponentInfo().findInWindows("Popup");

      IWDWindow window = wdThis.wdGetAPI().getComponent().getWindowManager().createWindow(windowInfo, true);

      wdContext.currentContextElement().setWindowInstance(window);

      window.setWindowPosition(WDWindowPos.CENTER);

      window.setWindowSize(600, 350);

      window.open();

      }
