Hi everyone,
We have NW portal 7.3 and after applying support packs, mastheadiview/theme iviews are not working and giving error below

BASIS took a look at the log and asked us to re delpoy mastheadiview/theme and I am trying to search for some information regarding this. Our tracks are corrupt so we have to do manual deployment using NWDS. I know there is a WAR file for masthead at this location but not sure how I can import this into studio and redeply it. I did find some information regarding that but did not help me.

Can someone please let me know how I can redeploy masthead iview to get rid of the portal error?

No need to import this, just use the deployment perspective of NWDS and drag&drop, thats all. Premise is of course you have the right war.

Thanks everyone for your time and reply. I got this resolved by the process below.
1) Created empty EAR project in NWDS
2) Located our custom WAR file and unzipped it.
3) Imported individual files from WAR into corresponding folders of empty EAR project
4) Created EAR file and deployed it using deployment tool in NWDS.

just snoopy: and this steps resolved your issue? From your description I guess you deployed the same component with another alias (by the way, building a new EAR is not necessary, you can also deploy WAR in the deployment perspective), it would mean you are still loading the same masthead iView from your frameworkpage and must get same errors (IF the masthead component is really the problem).

Hi Ravi,
If this is the standard content provided by SAP, and not a customer iView, then you can just deploy EP-RUNTIME.SCA (downloaded from Service Market Place).
It is always recommended to deploy the latest patch of the SP you are using.
This SCA includes the EPA files with the content provided by SAP.
If deployment (and a potential restart) doesn't help, then please provide the full stack trace, related to this exception ID.
To find the relevant trace file, you can use SAP note 1596214 - "How to find the latest default trace file of the NW AS Java right after reproducing an issue".
