Email notification for SC items to be processed not showing in the mailbox

Greetings to you all,

I am working on creating an email notification for users to receive mail notifying them on SC items in their outlook mailbox that require approval. The sub workflow WS14500013 has been modified with the task TS90007957 in the send mail step. The user shave been properly maintained in the org structure with their email addresses correctly configured.

When we test the mail notification using the correctly maintained users, the users don't get the mail. The workflow starts and completes fully.

Please help on any steps I could have missed, with detailed steps I can follow.
