Launch Web Excel in specific input layout tab

Hi,

We are creating a bunch of BPS planning screens and using Web Excel. Now, some of the folders have multiple input layouts in them. When you launch the Web Excel, it launches into the first tab. Is there a way to launch a web excel screen into a different input layout tab besides the first one? Has anyone tried to do something like this?

Hi Kevin,

it's possible to have several Excel input layouts on a single web page/tab. The only thing you should pay attention to is performance. The more layouts per page, the longer it will take to open it.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the reply. I understand about the performance, but what I am asking is, if you have multiple layouts on a page, can you open that page to the third tab, or fourth tab, instead of the first one always coming up? I was thinking about trying to send a parameter through a URL and depending on the value, depends on what tab is opened when the page is launched, still with the other tabs on the page.

I was just thinking that there might be a simple way of doing that.
