Dear ALL,
I'm working on SAP BPC MS Version 10.0 SP 11.
And I'm setting Business Rules to validate my Balance Sheet items, with the needs to apply "Other Source Dimension Members".
And I have got multiple Members to input in that field, just unfortunately I found the suggested syntax as below will create error when triggering the Script Logic.
PRODUCT=TOTALPRODUCT OR INTERCO=TOTALINTERCO
It seems like "OR" should not be used to link up multi-dimensions. Any ideas?
Thanks a lot.
Antony
Hi Antony,
I do not think you can use OR, the field for other source dimension members should to my knowledge just be a comma separated list (for example PRODUCT=TOTALPRODUCT,INTCO=TOTALINTCO).
What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Arnold

Hi Arnold,
I found that, if I want to compare the Total of a specific dimension and put the discrepancy into one of the member, I just simply have to leave the Other Source Dimension Member "Empty" and fill in Other Destination Dimension Member the desired value.
Tho, I still do not understand why I could not generate the needed if I put any value in Other Source Dimension Member.
Cheers!
Antony
