Local order in MAM

Hi

I have a problem with Local orders in MAM. When synchronise to R/3 the order is created with all data from MAM, but not (offcourse?) the sales area.

When I create a service order directly in R/3 with the samme data the sales area is derived from the equipment.

Has anyone worked with this issue before and have an idea why the sales area is not dereived in the sync or an idea how to solve?

Thanks in advance

Br

Rolf

Hi Rolf,

This is normal behavior when the order is created via the client device.

One way to accomplish this would be to create a badi exit on the middleware to connect to the backend and retrieve the sales order for the selected equipment. This way you could input the associated value before the bapi MAM_001_create gets called on to the backend.

Does this help?

Hi Sami

Your writing quote "retrieve the sales order for the selected equipment." Do you mean the Sales organisation for the selected equipment?

Thanks so far, I think this might be a solution, should have given you a better mark (Im new to this, sorry)
