Function groups are programs which contain function modules. Fuction modules contain code that can be called in other programs inside the system as well as outside the system.

    Function Builder is SE37

    Hello Sameer,

    use following link to logout

    https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/logoff.sdn

SE37 is transaction code used for creating function modules(FM).

But when you create a FM, you have to assign it to a Function group(FG).

FG you can create either from SE37 or SE80.

    regards

<b>ABAP Functions Modules Sample Programming Codes</b>

The ABAP example program listed here uses the CALL FUNCTION found in 'SE37'. For e.g. ALV.

Function modules are procedures that are defined in function groups (special ABAP programs with type F) and can be called from any ABAP program. All functions can be found at transaction code 'SE37'. If you need any ABAP help, do feel free to asked it in the Abapers forum.

Function Modules (FM) are just like any other functions in other language. They have a set of Import and Export parameters. U can code any reusable logic within them. U must always assoicate a FM to a FG. Its just logically mapping related things together. All FM can use the global data within a FG. Use se37 to create all of them.
