Dear expert
I have an PM order which got both activity type posting (cost element 43) and material consumption.
I need to parallel to settle it to
1) WBS
2) to 2 GL account :
Is it possible to do both in parallel and if yes what are the definitions needed to be customized in the settlement profile
Thanks
Hi Dan
Seems possble, but i need more details..
Can you detail what cost elements are posted in your PM order, where do you want to settle them to and what should be the picture post settlement?

Dear Ajay
I post to the PM order 2 types of cost elements:
1) CE category 43 Internal activity allocation
2) CE category 1 .
The cost from category 1 above (43) I want to settle to primary P&L account.
The cost from category 2 above (1) I want to settle with their original accounts.
Both should be settled from PM order to WBS.
Hi
Assuming you want the same Catg 1 CE as the receiver and sender as well, I would suggest to try the following steps (i.e. receivers upon settlement will be a Primary P&L Account for Catg 43 and The same Mat cons accounts for the Catg 1 CE)
1. Create a Source Structure with 2 assignments (10 / 20).. Assign the Catg 43 CE and Catg 01 CE in the 2 assignments resply
2. Create an alloc structure where in you create 2 assignment lines same as Source Structure
In Assignment 10, assign the catg 43 CE and Assignment 20, assign the catg 01 CE..
For both assignment lines, tick the "By cost element" check box (You can do with one assignment line also)
3. Assign both 1 and 2 to your settlement profile. Allow G/L as settlement receiver in your settlement profile
4. Create 2 settlement rules for PM Order with settlement receiver as GL accounts
Settlement rule 1 - G/L Catg 22 - Select Source Str Assignment 10
Settlement rule 2 - G/L Catg 1 (Consumption account) - Select Source Str Assignment 20
5. Double click on each settlement rule and assign the WBSE as cost object in the DETAILS section of settlement rules
6. Implement Note 483340 to read the WBSE from settlement rule as a co object
