INHRA Function Processing failed - No /4E4 generation and HRA exemption not coming

Former Member

Dear Friends,

For one employee, there's no HRA exemption wagetype i.e.  /4E4 not generated in PRD however it comes in QAS. I checked the INHRA function in payroll log and found as per attachment. Processing is incomplete in PRD whereas it calculates correctly in QAS.

Please suggest me what went wrong in PRD ?

Already checked below threads , but didn't help.

Hi,

As per your screenshot HRA amount is missing in the Production INHRA log . Eligibility is showing zero.

Please check these things

1.Try to copy the IT0581 again and check the relavent HRA wage type is there in IT0008

2. As per SAP if you are using more than one wage type for HRA in your configuration

  a. Create a dummy wage type remove all cumulation classes and assign tax code SHRA and include in the allowace grouping.

  b. Remove tax code SHRA from the existing  HRA wage types.

  c. Create a rule before function INHRA to add the HRA wage type and add to the dummy wagetype.

Dear Mr. Sujith,

One query regarding how to make the wagetype as housing perk basis.

I am creating a wage type in IT15 and making it as annual irregular income. Now I want the  amount against this wage type will be added in my housing perk calculation(7.5% of salary).

Please suggest what to do.

Dear Friends,

I raised it to SAP and the SAP Global support team reply as below-

Please check the view, v_t7ina9 in the affected system.

Regarding the issue, please go through the explanation below:

SAP recommends you to configure only one wage type per

taxcode for an Allowance Grouping, in the view V_T7INA9 for a validity

period. More than one wage types per Taxcode for an Allowance Grouping

should not be maintained for any functionality in any case at a

particular point of time. You may maintain multiple wage types per

Taxcode for an Allowance Grouping provided that their validity periods

in the view V_T7INA9 are different.

But I've checked in affected system multiple wagetypes are not there. Before replying to SAP again, need your feedback on this. What else I've to check ?

Hi Niladri,

Is employee transferred recently or grade level changed, pl check the PS type & area of the employee is maintained as per,

if it is a case of one employee that means mostly it is related to master data mismatch,

Check & reply accordingly.

Hi Niladri ,

Please check steps as sap suggested also check it is happening 1 employee or all employees

if it one employee- check master data  . if it is All employees -check Complete view your HRA configuration like IMG ,Schema ,PCR's

Configuration tables

Housing code for taxation (V_T7INR1)

Percentage/amount for housing related constant (V_T7INR3)

Housing related statutory constants for taxation (V_T7INR5)

Codes for Housing Types (V_T7INR7)

City category for housing type (V_T7INR9)

Need to check mainly V_t7int9 Tax Code assigned 1 wage type are multiple wage type

Dear Satish,

I've found multiple wagetypes are there linked to taxcode SHRA both in QAS and PRD in V_T7INT9.

If that's the case then HRA Exemption should n't be calculated in QAS too, but it is calculated perfectly in QAS not in PRD.

Dear Rajesh,

Start date 01.04.2013 and enddate 31.12.9999 both in QAS and PRD. In PRD it shows error while in QAS not.

Check Dates correctly once again. Check Backend config related to wagetype in production server.
