Cannot open logon window in NWBC 4.0 desktop

I'm running Netweaver 7.4 and trying to use NWBC 4.0 PL10, but to no avail. I can logon just fine in the browser using transaction NWBC.

When I click the server in NWBC 4.0 I get the logon screen and I correctly authenticate. It even shows that I have open logon sessions and asks if I want to cancel them.

Just after this, I get a popup that says "It was not possible to open logon window for the server with URL" - http://<server>:<port>/nwbc.

It suggests that I test the URL in the browser but there it works just fine. Any ideas?

    Dear Joao,

Please prepare a Verbose trace (Type 2 in KBA 1883689), and check if you find any errors in it.

    Best regards

Thanks Joao for your answer, my FQDN is correctly defined. But even if i defined the entry in NWBC using the direct IP address instead of the hostname, i still have the same error after i enter my login credential.

When i start the transaction NWBC directly in my SAP system, it works just fine. When i test the URL directly in my browser, i can find my roles list and when i click on one, the WebGui starts just fine also.

I don't understand what is wrong. Any help will be really appreciated.
