Upgrade to SAP BO 4.1 - information sharing

Hi All,

we have upgraded one of our customers to SAP BO 4.1 (upgrade not new install)

we had a problem that we got Java error

A Null Pointer exception occurs when users try to modify or view

reports from BI Launchpad when the preference for Web Intelligence is

set to "Use document locale to format the data"

===Action Taken===

In preference for Web Intelligence selected the to 'Use my Preferred

viewing Local to Format the data'

Now you are able to create and Edit report

and install SP1 patch 1

other than that everything works just fine, the web intelligence Gui runs very fast in Applet mode and HTML

our reports over SAP BW with drill and graphs , everything works fine

enjoy the new version!!

for any questions you are welcome to contact me

    Please remove your email address from the discussion per SCN rules of engagement

    Also please note that "BO" is not an approved acronym for BusinessObjects

    Please make these corrections
