Sales opportunity number - reference in Quote, Sales Order

I would like Sales Documents (Quotation, Sales Order) to have a field referencing the Sales Opportunity number.

Would it be possible to do this automatically - maybe using Formatted search?

Any advice/ help to achieve this is appreciated.
