Service Entry Sheet not in PO history

Hello All

I Have created a service PO (ME21N) and created its Service Entry Sheet (ML81N), but not accepted.

Then, in the PO (ME23N) I can't see the History tab, however, EKBE table was updated.

When I accept the Service Entry Sheet, PO history is updated with both documents service entry sheet and goods receipt.

Can anyone tell me what could be happening? or could recomend an OSS note?

Thanks in advance

Hi all,

Finally the problem was solved after updating our sap system from version SAP_APPL 602 to SAP_APPL 606.

Now, we can see the SES in PO history when not accepted.

Hi All,

Once the service entry sheet has been created for a service Po (Item cat D) it will show in item detail under "Purchase Order history" tab, and once the SES has been accepted,GR document will be created automatically and will be shown in item detail under the same tab.

Check if you are authorized to view "Purchase Order History" tab or not? sometimes its just the matter of getting the right authorization.

Thanks,

Naveed

Dear All,

we have implemented note 442091 in our systems, but still can not display the SES (not accepted) in PO history.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Hi,

Rightly explained by AKPT and Rahul. when you didn't accept service entry sheet & save it than it only create Material Document, PO History category (Lerf), the very next moment when you accept the service entry sheet and Save it than it update controlling and financial Document, (PO History Category WE) (Plant is also update in EKBE).

Hi,

There are two sets of ideas which are floating in this thread. One that says that SES once created will be reflected in the PO history in item details irrespective of whether SES is accepted or not. Second set says that SES has to be accepted in order for it to be reflected in the PO history.

As per my understanding, SES once created will be reflected in the PO history. However as rightly explained by Ravindra, GR document will only be created once the SES is accepted.

Since you are not able to view the PO history tab for the SES created PO, as explained above by AKPT Note 442091 should be analyzed for the resolution.

Hi,

Check following

Option-1:Did your user ID authorized to view PO History TAB? Check & Consult with Basis Consultant.

Option-2: Did a Layout/Variant has been created & set in PO History TAB,which is filtering output, causing concern for you!

Hello Bijai,

I've checked and apparently not a problem of authorization to display the purchase order.

Not a problem with the layout of PO History tab either. Because, the SES is displayed when its accepted.

Actually, we are looking to implement the note 442091

Hi,

Once accept the Service entry sheet, the GR number to be updated in PO history EKBE.

Acceptence of service entry sheet means Goods receipt done for service entry sheet.

Hi,

Po history is updated when you accept the SES.

Its a standard behavior.

Thanks

Hi,

Standard SAP will update the PO history once any following document is created. Means, the PO history will be updated once the SES is created, even if the service entry sheet is not accepted.

You may test the scenario. If its not updating in your system, check the note mentioned above.

Hi,

Sorry AKPT, for my wrong comment.

That was not a standard sap behavior,

Actually Our team development a Z for SES,

That's why I wrote the wrong for SES standard.

I apologize for my mistake.

Thanks
