Former Member

Hi,

We actiavted country code Brazil function in SRM 702 and enabled DNL_CUST_BRAZIL, DNL_CUST_TAX and DNL_CUST_TXJCD object.

The replication of the object was successful from ECC to SRM. When trying to create a new shopping cart, the following Brazil related fields are greyed out, can you please let me know if I am missing anything?

  • CFOP Category
  • Material Origin
  • Material Uage
  • In house Production and
  • NCM Code

Thanks,

Ashwin

Hi,

We are also missing "Table extensions" tab on the shopping cart, not sure if this is related.

Hi Ajay,

When Brazil or India country is activated in SRM, the SC will automatically have a tab "Table Extension" where the tax details will be stored, please take a look at my screenshot. This is standard SAP behavior.

I am not looking for a custom table extension.

Hello Ashwin,

If you have recently done the metadata changes, then you will have invalidate the Shared memory and rebuild the instance. Check the note 1794661 which has manual instructions on how to achieve. Can you check this and let us know if it worked.

Hi Veera,

Sorry for the late response, the note is referring to account assignment extensions, not sure if this would fix the Table extensions tab for Brazil and India. Please let me know.

Thanks,

Hello Ashwin,

This note talks about rebuilding meta data instance cache which is necessary when you have done changes for the meta data customizing for fields visibility.

Hi Veera,

Thanks for the details. We had the system (SRM and Portal) taken down for maintenance yesterday and it fixed the issue .

But, if we run  into the issue in production, we will use the notes mentioned.

Thanks,

Ashwin

Hello Ashwin,

I assume you have manually added the fields on the Web Dynpro view and these fields in the

context structure. But however this alone is not sufficient to render them on screen. You will need to do the necessary metadata customization. For example since this Shopping cart item related navigate to SM30 view /SAPSRM/V_MDF_I1 and make the entries for these structure field but the Business object BUS2121.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Veera,

These fields were not added manually in Webdynpro, the already exists and there are visible.

For the configuration of the metadata, they exists in our system as well. Please see screenshot attached.

Hi Ashwin,

Please go thru the following link:

Hope this helps.

Hi Ajay,

The issue is in SRM not in ECC. When we are trying to create a shopping cart with free text for Brazil company code, the fields are not allowed for initial entry.

Hi Ashwain,

I could find the following document for Brasil localisation. Please check if something is missing.
