Regarding ALV

Hi,

When i am transfering output of a ALV report to Excel,

I am getting probelm in the Date filed.

In ALV report the date format is DD/MM/YYYY.Which is the requried output.

But when i am trnasfering to Excel it is appearing the date format is YYYY/MM/DD.

I want to display data in DD/MM/YYYY format in excel.

Pelase let me know the procedure.

    Hi,

    In Excel ITAB declare date like.

    Duedate like sy-datum.

    Hi,

    U can change the date format as below before downloading to excel.

    LOOP AT outtab.
    <b>CONCATENATE outtab-date+8(2) outtab-date+5(2) outtab-date+0(4) into outtab seperated by '/'.</b>
    Modify OUTTAB.
    clear outtab.
    ENDLOOP.

    Then u pass this to download file function module.

    When you declared your date like

    today type d,

    and told ALV via the fieldcatalog that today is of type d, then it is a problem in excel, not in SAP. Tell Excel how to display dates, do not hard code this in your report, you will loose flexibility.
