Identifying the associated open contracts when a partner master data is changed

We have a requirement to identify the open contracts that are associated with the business partners, when the partner function master data is changed. We have come up with a solution which is to see the Partner change log table and from there going to VBPA table to identify the contracts. Is there any standard SAP functionality to do this?
