Crystal Reports 2013 data didn't refresh using OLE DB Provider for SQL Server

I have a report using OLE DB Provider for SQL Server, which is configured in the TEST.UDL file to connect to a database on the SQL server. After, changing the database on the TEST.UDL, the report still connecting to the original database even I refresh the report. Planning to switch database by changing the configuration in the TEST.UDL file, instead going into each report to fix it. Any good suggestion or idea. Or is it a bug?

Look under the File Menu and ensure there is no check mark next to "Saved Data".

    • You can use replaceConnection to set the connection to OLE DB also.

Only other thing is you MUST use the correct SQL Server Client for the Server you are using. So when you make your connection select:

      For OLE DB then use:

MS SQL 2005 - OLE DB Provider

      MS SQL 2008 - SQL Native 10

      MS SQL 2013 - SQL Native 11

      For ODBC then use:

MS SQL 2005 - SQL Native

      MS SQL 2008 - SQL Native 10

      MS SQL 2013 - SQL Native 11

Clients are installed from SQL Server Tools menu, SQL 2005 uses the MDAC 2.8 install.
