Hi experts,

I might've posted to wrong forum, but could you help me if you please?

I'd like to know about IDOC message type "SHPMNT02".

I have no idea on what kind of message type; used in what kind of interface, who is the partner system, in which case (scenario) SHPMNT02's used, etc.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Hodaka Yamada

Hi, SHPMNT02 is an IDoc type and its messag etype is SHPMNT.

About partner type and interface you need to configure system. Alos this IDoc message type is to be added as inboud or outbound in WE20 to the particular partner.

Hi, thanks for quick response:)

Well, I have little knowledge on IDoc, and I might misunderstand the situation.

The difference btwn SHPMNT01 and SHPMNT02 is the data structure and which IDoc type to be used depends on what data to be transfered?

And the partner system depends on the config in WE20 and scenario upon our business needs?

Thanks in advance,

Yes actually IDOC type contains different structures and then we have message type which is sort of like grouping similar stuff together.

In We20 you basically define where you want to send data and using what types.
