Thanx Anand.

1. How to set the decimal places for a particular column..?

Thru Formatting > Columns, we can set the desired decimal for all columns. But how to set it specifically different for 1 column..?

2. Also Is it possible to add a constant '%' at the end of all variance values in 'Variance as % ' column..?

Thanks,

Neha

Hi Neha,

Report Painter has limitations:

1. If you set decimal place; it will apply the decimal format for all the columns.

2. In report painter you can display  only numeric values ( not %)

You will be able to download Report Painter to Excel and change the format.

The other option will be to create an ABAP Report.

Thanks

Anand

Hi Neha

Name the column as a "Variance %" column..

That should suffice

Hi Anand,

For point 1, it is surprising since for % columns showing variance as as %, we may have to show with decimal places. So I have a requirement to show only one column with 2 decimal places...

Any workarounds pl...?

thanx

As mentioned above you can have decimal place for all or none in Report Painter.  If Users are still wanting to see the decimals, in the variance formula multiply by 10,000 instead of 100 and the last two digits will represent decimals which will look odd..

Hi Neha,

You can set the decimal place for all or none and for the percentage you have to make an ABAP report.

I have resolved this issue. It is possible to set decimal point for 1 column.
